I am looking at buying a townhouse. Everything is great in it except in the
Angel Baby
bathrooms the sink and toilet is white, and the shower/tub is gold/yellow.

It is not horrible, but it would look much better white obviously. How

Thanks.

When we moved, I ended up with two bathrooms with chocolate brown
shower/tubs - YUCK! In the end, I decided to work with it & found a shower
curtain, towels, etc. that matched. In one of the bathrooms, you can not
even see the shower unless you are using it. With matching decorating
items, it doesn't seem that bad & it was much cheaper than replacement.

Do not resurface the tub! That is one of the biggest wastes of

money because it will only last a year or two before the new finish starts

We’re planning to have an overlay (Bath Fitter/Rebath) installed later
this year. While I have heard some negatives – usually that water can
get trapped between the overlay & the main tub which doesn’t smell so
great after awhile – the majority of the people I’ve talked to are
pleased with the result.
Replacing a tub is difficult & costly, especially if you have one of the
old iron tubs like I do.

You can always call and get them to come out and do an

estimate. Usually, there is no charge for that. I would feel sure that

You also run a risk of damaging the floor when you rip out and you would
need to figure in some $ in your budget just in case.

You could do that or have it resurfaced. I wouldn't go through
Mickey
redoing the entire bathroom though.
